Copper and Tourmaline are FAB together!

I hope you all had a wonderful weekend.  Saturday was filled with creative inspiration for me  - so I took the time to sit down and make up a few pieces.

One of my very favorite stones is Tourmaline.  I absolutely LOVE the colors and the “flavor” it adds to just about any piece.  Watermellon Tourmaline is the top of the list with the blue coming in right behind at 1.5 (not second).

So here are the pieces I produced this weekend.  I hope you enjoy them and will comment.

These earrings have Tourmaline drops on them and a Smokey Topaz bead in the center.

The Cuff bracelet is hammered and forged then is given a light coat of wax

The Pendant is coiled copper wire

 

This copper chain measures 32″ with the 3 bottom hoops adding another couple of inches.  It is all hand soldered loops.

Something new..

OK, this is supposed to be a holiday weekend - sometimes I get more done on holidays than I do on the days I “really work”!!!

 

I have been making some really fun chunky stuff lately.  So I thought I’d show a couple and see what you think.  Let me know if you have comments or questions.

The first piece is Amethyst chunk with dark amethyst beads and handmade lampwork beads.

The second piece is Amethyst chunk with Fluorite and amethyst beads, and silver chain.
